"Assassin" Gets Video Release
/>"My Little Assassin," a film based on a true story involving Fidel Castro and an American lover, will be released on video/DVD on March 28. The movie, which premiered on cable's Lifetime last year, stars Joe Mantegna ("The Rat Pack" ), Gabrielle Anwar ("Scent of a Woman" ), Jill Clayburgh and Robert Davi ("Profiler"). It tells the story of a relationship between Fidel Castro (Mantegna) and a young woman (Anwar) before Castro's rise to power in Cuba. After she becomes pregnant, she returns to the United States, only to be recruited by the CIA and FBI, which plan to return her to Cuba with the intent of assassinating Castro.
